We thought we were ready.


The road was reinforced.
Stone after stone.


Layer after layer.

It looked solid.

Until the crane sank.

Only once.

But once is enough.

It stood there,
stabilised on its legs,
waiting for the truck.

The truck that never arrived.

At some point,
we had to ask a neighbour:


Can we leave a house here?

Hours passed.
More attempts.
More mud.

The ground decides.

Luckily,
the concrete pads were already there.


Waiting.
