You’re probably wondering what our first night was like.
So were we. We couldn’t wait to find out.
Would we be scared?
After all, we had always lived in an apartment in the city — not at the edge of a village, by the forest, with cows as our neighbors.
As soon as the terrace was finished, we knew.
It was time.
A mattress. Sleeping bags.
And the feeling that we were finally here.
And you know what?
It was beautiful.
Silence.
Real silence.
Just distant sounds of animals somewhere in the dark.
Then, in the middle of the night, a siren woke us up.
For a moment, it scared us. We didn’t know what was happening. Was it some kind of emergency? Something serious?
Only later we realized — the local firefighters had a call.
But because of that moment, we stepped outside…
and saw the night sky for the first time.
All of it.
Clear. Endless. Full of stars.
In the morning, we were woken up by a fly hitting the window.
It’s that quiet here.
Even a fly can wake you up.
And maybe that was the moment we realized —
this place would be different.
